Live from Hastings

On the East Hill looking over the 'Old Town'

Well we have arrived in Hastings now and are staying at the very lovely little Lavender and Lace guesthouse. Which is really quite little. Even I sometimes hit my head on the door frames. It's also 500 yrs old.

We spent today setting up an English bank account and doing paper work for timeplan. It was pretty boring but we did meet up with timeplan's foreign legion. Which Included 5 other Canadians who are also teaching at Hillcrest with us.

We are still finding our feet here in England but school starts next week so we're pretty excited about that.

10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5...

Counting down, only 14 days to go till we leave behind our sun-burnt country (which just had it's coldest ever winter) and journey to the land of the ice and snow (which just had it's hotest ever summer). Confused? I know I am.
